  <title>Resum visual del GNOME</title>

  <p>El GNOME 3 té una interfície d'usuari completament reimaginada, dissenyada per mantenir-se fora de la vostra línia de treball, minimitzar les distraccions, i ajudar-vos a fer les coses. Quan inicieu la sessió per primer cop, veureu un escriptori buit a la barra superior.</p>

  <p>The top bar provides access to your windows and applications, your
  calendar and appointments, and
  <link xref="status-icons">system properties</link> like sound, networking,
  and power. In the system menu in the top bar, you can change the volume or
  screen brightness, edit your <gui>Wi-Fi</gui> connection details, check your
  battery status, log out or switch users, and turn off your computer.</p>

  <p if:test="!platform:gnome-classic">Per accedir a les finestres i aplicacions, feu clic al botó <gui>Activitats</gui>, o simplement moveu el punter del ratolí a la cantonada calenta superior esquerra. També podeu prémer la tecla <key xref="keyboard-key-super">Súper</key> del vostre teclat. Podeu veure les finestres i les aplicacions a la vista general. També podeu començar a teclejar per cercar les vostres aplicacions, fitxers, carpetes i la web.</p>

  <p>A l'esquerra de la vista general, trobareu el <em>tauler</em>. El tauler mostra les aplicacions favorites i les que més s'executen. Feu clic a qualsevol icona del tauler per obrir l'aplicació; si l'aplicació ja s'està executant, es ressaltarà. En fer clic a la icona apareix la finestra més recentment utilitzada. També podeu arrossegar la icona a la vista general o cap a qualsevol espai de treball a la dreta.</p>

  <p>Fent clic amb el botó dret a la icona que mostra un menú us permet triar qualsevol finestra d'una aplicació en execució, o obrir-ne una de nova. També podeu fer clic a la icona mentre manteniu premuda la tecla <key>Ctrl</key> per obrir una nova finestra.</p>

  <p>Quan entreu a la vista general, inicialment estareu a la vista general de finestres. Això us mostra les miniatures de totes les finestres de l'espai de treball actual.</p>

  <p>Feu clic al botó de graella situat a la part inferior del tauler per mostrar la descripció general de les aplicacions. Això us mostra totes les aplicacions instal·lades a l'ordinador. Feu clic a qualsevol aplicació per executar-la, o arrossegueu una aplicació a la vista general o en una miniatura de l'espai de treball. També podeu arrossegar una aplicació al tauler per fer-la favorita. Les vostres aplicacions favorites romanen al tauler, fins i tot quan no s'estan executant, de manera que podeu accedir-hi ràpidament.</p>

  <p>Quan deixeu l'ordinador, podeu bloquejar la pantalla per evitar que altres persones l'utilitzin. També podeu canviar ràpidament d'usuari sense tancar la sessió completament per donar accés a algú a l'ordinador, o podeu suspendre o apagar l'ordinador des del menú. Si teniu una pantalla que admet la rotació vertical o horitzontal, podeu girar la pantalla ràpidament des del menú del sistema. Si la pantalla no suporta la rotació, no es mostrarà el botó.</p>

  <p>When you lock your screen, or it locks automatically, the lock screen is
  displayed. In addition to protecting your desktop while you’re away from your
  computer, the lock screen displays the date and time. It also shows

    <p>La llista de finestres que hi ha a la part inferior de la pantalla proporciona accés a totes les finestres i a les aplicacions obertes, i us permet minimitzar i restaurar-les ràpidament.</p>
    <p>A la part dreta de la llista de finestres, el GNOME mostra un identificador curt de l'espai de treball actual, com ara <gui>1</gui> per al primer (superior) espai de treball. A més, l'identificador també mostra el nombre total d'espais de treball disponibles. Per canviar a un espai de treball diferent, podeu fer clic a l'identificador i seleccionar l'espai de treball que voleu utilitzar des del menú.</p>
